It is in true terms sequel to 'Ek Tha Tiger' with some much better humour and action sequences but just like its prequel it have engaging first half but disappointing second half. The movie have a very basic storyline of a team evacuating the kidnapped nurses from the terrorist organization just like any playstation game. The first half make you stick to the seats because of some clever punch lines which are intelligent and humorous, one that stayed with me was when zoya appeared suddenly to save tiger in Abu Dhabi which made him asked what you did with Junior (their son), she replied bech dia (sold him). Such lines are too common and frequent in first half between Tiger, Zoya, their kid Junior, Raw agents and then even Paresh Rawal potraying character of an oil refinery owner which creates commendable and unforgettable chemistry between characters. Other aspect of the movie which is commendable are action sequences and their visuals which is quite amazing and eye treat. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have done some unbelievable action sequences with perfection and both of them should definitely applauded for it. But post interval such punch lines frequency reduces and focus comes back to the story which prove to be a setback as it have a very predictable and basic story, Katrina who potrays Zoya who had comparitively less screen time than Salman potraying Tiger tries to pour emotion in the movie and had given accurate expressions and dialogue delivery for it but weak script wasted her all efforts, on the other hand the kidnapped nurses should make us emotional but they fail miserably especially woman potraying the head nurse overacted a lot and hence even after the considerable screen time given to her no one sympathize with her or the nurses which was biggest disappointment of the script. Even the villian i.e. Abu Usman could not impress much and had just done average with his performance. Second half proved restless for audiences and nothing be it Salman actions, Katrina emotions or Paresh comedy could save it. The thing that left a impression was Indian agency Raw and Pakistan agency ISI working together for a good cause but that goodwill vanishes soon. The thing that again manages to fetch audiences eyeballs comes in the end and its not the climax but the song 'Swag Se Swagat'. Overall movie is good festival watch with family but don't expect it to be a movie with lots of thrills or suspense but take it as just as an entertaining movie.

  1. Clever Punch Lines
In the trailer it appeared the movie will be on serious side with some basic dialogues but in the movie its vice versa and the humour created by the punch lines is the biggest strength of the movie.
  2. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif
However the movie script is very weak and doesn't offer much for the audiences but Salman and Katrina chemistry, wit and action scenes prove to be magnificient.
  3. Visuals and Action Sequences
Full marks to the visuals and most of action sequences, there was rarely any flaw in the action scenes and some action sequences definitely deserve appluads whether its be Katrina fight with terrorists or Salman battling it out with wolfs.

  1. Basic and Streched Storyline
The clever humour and chemistry among characters keeps us busy in the first half but with second half comes the flaws where the script is very basic, predictable and even streched, thrill factor is completely missing and it failed to touch the emotional chords.
  2. Flaws in Screenplay
Even after the basic script there are various flaws in the movie which are clearly visible, to mention few why some workers were allowed inside the hospital where Abu Usman was kept when no one else was allowed. Other thing that was the primary reason of it not touching the emotional chord is the pathetic performance by the head nurse which was supported by poor script hence ending in no sympathy by audiences for them.

Magnet Call

Movie especially pre interval is a family entertainer but not at all a seat edge thriller.
